Nubians in New Halfa

Nubians who imigrated from Wadi Halfa to Khashim Elgirba in Butana plain due to inundation of their home land , when the high dam was constructed in Eygpt . Those people live in about 25 villages constructed by the Eygption government fund in compensation for their flooded homes . The houses were built by using cements and concerte blocks to cope with the climate dominant in this area . A new city was constructed in the centre , so villages scattered arround the city in a circular manner , the distance between a village and the other is about 5 kms . Still Nubians in New Halfa stick to their mother language which is nubiin , they were very civilized people in every walks of life . will be continued later ...................
